All, I can say is WOW & thank all of you very much!!! Sales of the new CF Moto line has been terrific. We sold out of our 1st two shipments faster than Michael Phelps can chew up a 200 meter freestyle. Now we have just received a shipment of E-Charms. That is the 150cc fuel injected scooters from CF Moto. We have 8 in stock in various colors, I don't expect them hang around too long. By the way these machines get about 90 MPG according to our customers who have purchased them recently. I'll say it again 90MPG!!! While oil has recently dropped in price, I personally don't think we will see prices at the pump go under $3.00/ gallon again. So if you have been thinking about getting a scooter to save some gas (and you know you have),or you just want to look cool, come see us. First Turn is also expecting the 250cc machines from CF Moto very soon. Those are the V3, V5, & the E-Fashion. They come complete with AM FM radio & MP3 connection. They even have a cassette player for when your want to relive that polyester power hour!!! So come on down to First Turn, you deserve it!!!
While the rest of the country is starting to prepare for fall, haha, we still have about 4 months of grass cutting in front of us. So now is a better time than ever to check Snapper. First Turn is carrying the new Pro S50x. It is a commercial grade machine designed for a home owner. From the 10 gauge steel 48" deck with reinforced top & skirt, to the twin hydrostat motors, to the powerful engines, this machine means business!! Speaking of motors, you can choose between a 26HP Briggs & Stratton Extended Life, or a 19HP Kawasaki engine to power your new machine. First Turn also has the traditional Snapper rear engine rider, as well as a variety of self propelled walk behind mowers. Snapper also has easy payment terms like 60 month financing @ 6.90%, or 36 month interest free for commercial machines. So don't spend another minute on that tired worn out machine that leaves your yard looking like a bad bikini waxing. Come on down to First Turn & get yourself a new Snapper, you deserve it!!

Hey guys, I hope everyone is doing well. I have 5500 miles on Esmeralda now and everything is great. That new Michelin Pilot Road 2 tire is fantastic. It is smooth on the straights and surefooted and stable in the bends. By the way, a friend of mine through the shop here who also has a C-14 told me not long ago that when you reach 5000 miles the bike gets even smoother than it was when new. I didn't really believe him. I though it was just Concours euphoria. I was wrong, he was right. Something happens right around 5000 miles. Everything gets noticeably smoother. I'm talking about ride, shifting, throttle, power delivery, idle, suspension, everything. Ok now that I have sang its praises, let's get down to a couple of issues I have with the bike. After all, I'm nothing if not fair. The stock seat is crap. The more I ride on it, the worse it gets. The way it is cut rotates your pelvis forward just enough to put the pressure on your inner thighs instead of your tushie. After about 30 minutes your start to feel it. An hour in a ride, and I have to get off. Now this is only really a problem in straight line riding because the rider's position does not change much. I noticed that when I am riding a twistie it is not so much of a factor. So I am patiently waiting for Sergeant to come out with their seat for the C-14. You know the one that should have been out by spring 2008, yeah that one. It will either be that or a Russell Day Long. I am afraid with the Russell that I will give up some sport rider positioning though. The next issue I have partially with the bike & partially with a magazine review. The June issue of Sport Bike Rider said the windshield and fairing combination is the best in its class & one of the best they have seen period. What a load of crap!!! Actually, the fairing design is great. It keeps you surprisingly dry in wet conditions. The stock windshield is horrible. I am 5'5" tall, and I can see 4 inches over the Kawasaki TALL windshield set in the highest position. The Stock windshield is about 4 inches shorter than that!! The stock shield may be fine if you want to spend your time crouched over the tank, but for tour riding or daily commuting it is useless. The Cee Bailey Euro is the way to go. Ok guys, that's all I have for now. Stop by & visit if your around the shop. Otherwise, stay up on 2. You deserve it!! |
